Competed at four meets during the season … finished fourth in the weight throw at 47-3 ¾ at the USD Alumni … added a season’s best in the shot put at the SDSU Holiday Open at 42-11 … took 10^th in the shot put at the SDSU Indoor Classic (42-11) and the Jim Emmerich Alumni (40-10 ¼) … totaled four top 10’s during the season.

Three-time state qualifier… state runner-up in the discus… also a three-time Iowa USATF Field Athlete of the Year… personal bests of 186-0 in the discus, 51-10 ½ in the shot put, and 166-4 in the hammer throw… outside of track and field, he is a state runner-up with the football team at Bishop Heelan and a state semifinalist with the Crusader basketball program… named academic all-state and academic all-district.
