Earned all-Summit League honors in the heptathlon with a score of 5,297 points for third place … broke the South Dakota school record in the heptathlon with a score of 5,365 points to win the SDSU Holiday Classic … also earned all-Summit League honors in the 60-meter hurdles with a third-place finish in a season best of 8.28 seconds … moved to 10th in school history in the 60 hurdles with the time … also took 10th in the pole vault at the Summit League Championships with a height of 14-7 ¼ … was named Summit League Athlete of the Week after the school record heptathlon performance at the SDSU Holiday Open … recorded a season best of 21-11 ¾ in the long jump during the Summit decathlon … cleared 6-4 ¾ for a season best in the high jump at the SDSU Classic … placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 19-11 ½ at the Dakota Realty Alumni Meet … recorded 12 top-10 finishes during the season ... named USTFCCCA All-Academic … made the Summit League honor roll.

2017 NCAA Division II Indoor Field Scholar Athlete of the Year ... finished runner-up in the heptathlon at the 2017 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships with a personal best score of 5,382 ... also recorded a personal best of 7,367 in the decathlon last season at the Mt. SAC Relays ... both marks would have set new South Dakota program records, including breaking Greg Haydenluck’s decathlon record from 1982 ... finished ninth in the heptathlon at the NCAA Indoor Championships and 11th in the decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2016 ... 2017 PacWest Men's Track and Field Scholar Athlete of the Year.
