The 2019 Minnesota state champion in the 800 meters ... clocked a personal best of 1:55.48 on the big stage during his junior year ... his senior track and field season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic ... a five-time qualifier for the Minnesota state cross country meet, qualified for the state track and field meet for the first time as a junior after a breakout season ... placed seventh on the cross country course to earn all-state honors in both 2018 and 2019 ... boasts a personal best of 16:04 for cross country ... also played hockey and baseball for the Timberwolves ... an academic all-state honoree in cross country and track.
