Alexsia Rose joins the South Dakota women's basketball program as a graduate assistant for the 2025-26 season.
Rose competed at East Carolina, Massachusetts, and most recently spent her final season of eligibility playing for Minnesota and former Coyote coach Dawn Plitzuweit. Playing guard, she compiled a season high 10 points against Nebraska and seven assists against North Florida during the 2024-25 season. At UMass, Rose averaged 11.4 points in one season there. She started 22 games at East Carolina, where she played her first three seasons of collegiate basketball. There, she averaged 3.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
