Joe Carroll joined South Dakota's athletic training staff on June 1, 2023. Carroll will work primarily with the Coyote women’s basketball program.
Carroll, hailing from Portage, Wisconsin, completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in athletic training at Dakota Wesleyan. After completing his master’s from Dakota Wesleyan in 2021, he began work at Dordt University. He spent the past two years working with the Defenders’ volleyball, cross country and track & field programs.
Carroll and his wife, Emily, have two sons, Evan and Elliott.
