Will Lemke

Will Lemke joined the South Dakota women's soccer staff prior to the 2018 season

Lemke spent the 2017 season as the head coach of the Briar Cliff women’s soccer team where he guided the Chargers to their best season in 12 years with a 10-8-1 record.
 
The winningest coach in the history of Youngstown State, Lemke tallied 36 wins with the Penguins. He guided YSU to its first-ever Horizon League Conference tournament appearance where it made three separate appearances.
 
In his seven seasons at Youngstown State, Lemke tutored nine Penguins to all-conference accolades and another six to the Horizon League all-newcomer team.
 
He served as head coach at Viterbo College from 2001-09 where he is the all-time winningest coach with 87 victories. He guided the V-Hawks to seven-straight winning seasons.
 
From 1998-2001, Lemke was the associate head coach at Winona State where the Warriors were consistently ranked inside the top-20 in NCAA Division II.
 
Outside of collegiate soccer, Lemke is a district select director and coach for the Minnesota and Dakotas ODP, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity where has held positions of President and Vice President.

Lemke received his bachelor’s degree in education & history from Wisconsin – La Crosse in 1996 and earned a master of education in educational leadership from Winona State in 2007.
