One of three Coyotes to appear in all 56 games and made 55 starts … in her first season at USD, she hit .276 with 37 hits … was third on the team with 24 RBIs … had 10 extra base hits with eight doubles and two home runs … scored eight runs, had 10 walks and three stolen bases … hit .313 with one home run and eight RBIs during Summit League play … had 10 games with multiple hits and nine games with two RBIs … ended the season on a three-game hit streak … went 4-for-5 from the plate with two RBIs in the series against Kansas City (Mar. 2-3) … was 2-for-4 with two RBIs in the season opener against Texas Southern (Feb. 7) … against St. Thomas (Mar. 28), she went 2-for-3 with a home runs and two RBIs … was 1-for-1 from the plate, drew two walks, scored twice and drove in two runs in a win over Hampton (Feb. 28).

Daughter of Brian and Jennifer Carey and has one sibling, Dylan, who plays baseball at the University of Nebraska...Grandfather, Dave Carey, was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the fourth round of the 1971 MLB Draft.
