Facilities Operations Coordinator
Chad Davison was promoted to Associate AD for Events and Facilities in June 2025 ahead of the 2025-26 academic year. He has been with the University of South Dakota athletic department in some capacity since the 2020-21 academic year and a full-time role since 2021.

He serves as the primary game manager for assigned sports, while assisting with all day-to-day event management and facility needs.

Davison spent the 2021-22 season as a facility operations specialist. He previously served with the USD event management staff as a graduate assistant and as an undergraduate intern.

A graduate of the University of South Dakota, Davison spent two years with the Coyote athletic department as an undergraduate student. He spent the 2016-17 school year as a facility and operations management assistant, helping with pre-game set up and operating the scoreboard during games. He also worked in the DakotaDome equipment room for the 2017 football season. Davison helped with a handful of events on campus, including the 2016 South Dakota High School Football Championships, the 2016 Women's National Invitation Tournament and the 2016 Summit League Track and Field Championships.

The Omaha, Nebraska, native also completed a pair of internships at the University of Nebraska and Creighton University in the event management departments.

Davison graduated with his bachelor's degree in kinesiology and sport management from USD in May of 2018. He has a master's degree in kinesiology and sport management from South Dakota as well.
