University of South Dakota Athletics

Kendal Johnson joined the USD athletic training staff in June of 2024. She comes to USD after completing her Master of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Spring of 2024. As a part of her time in the program, Johnson spent time with the Stanford University softball team, the Creighton University volleyball team, and the Creighton University crew team as an Athletic Training Immersive Student.

Johnson hails from Naperville, Illinois, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas. She has her CPR certification and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
