Kendra Rich was promoted to Assistant AD for Marketing and Promotions in May 2026 after two athletic seasons at South Dakota. She first joined the USD external relations team as the Assistant Director of Marketing in July 2024.
Her day-to-day responsibilities include creating and executing the marketing plans for Coyote football and women's basketball, while overseeing the marketing team and the USD spirit teams.
She comes to Vermillion from the University of Central Arkansas, where she spent the last two years as a graduate assistant in the Bears' athletic marketing office. At UCA, Rich managed game presentation and marketing for designated sports, including women's basketball, baseball, and men's and women's soccer.
Additionally, she has also spent the last two summers on staff with the Arkansas Travelers Baseball Club (Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners) as a production staff member.
Rich hails from Salem, Arkansas, graduating from the University of Central Arkansas in 2022 with a bachelor's in business administration. In her final two years of undergrad, she spent on staff with UCA athletic marketing as the lead intern before being retained as a graduate assistant. She completed her master's degree, also from UCA, in May 2024 with a degree in sport management.
