Maggie Ewen joins the Coyotes as a volunteer assistant with the track and field program.

An Arizona State graduate, Ewen has continued training post-collegiately with USD throws coach Kyle Long. She will continue training in Vermillion while assisting Long with the throwers.

Ewen, a two-time World finalist in the shot put, placed in the top-three at the U.S. Championships seven times between the indoor and outdoor seasons. She was the 2022 U.S. Indoor Champion in the shot put. She owns a personal best of 64 feet, 11 inches, (19.79m) in the shot put.
