Mersnick joins the swimming and diving coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach ahead of the 2025-2026 school year after concluding a four-year career with the Coyotes.

She was an eight-time Summit League Championship finalist as a diver for South Dakota from 2021-2025 with a career best fourth place finish on the three-meter board as a senior in 2025 and a sixth place finish on the one-meter board as a junior in 2024.

Closed her Coyote career in tenth place on the Coyote Top Ten chart for both diving events with career best point totals of 254.93 on the one-meter board and 252.50 on the three-meter board.

She won three individual events as a senior, part of 40 top five finishes over her four-year career as a Coyote.
