Sara Wieseler was promoted to Director of Athletic Facilities in June of 2022. She oversees custodial and facility operations within the role.

Wiesler has been at the University of South Dakota since 2007, previously serving as the assistant director of facility operations along with other roles within both the facility staff and as the equipment manager.

A native of St. Helena, Neb., Wieseler served as an intern in the equipment room in 2007 while a student at Wayne State (Neb.). She earned a bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in business administration in December of 2007.
