The Jacks sizzling shooting continued in the second half as USD could get no closer than eight points during the final 20 minutes. After trailing 60-52 with 15:25 on the clock, the Coyotes were unable to pull within single digits until the eight minute mark at 81-73.

Koupal kept it close for South Dakota, scoring 10 points in a three and a half minute span, as the Coyotes trailed 88-79 with 5:00 to go. After Koupal picked up her fifth foul with 4:08 on the clock, the Jacks closed out the game with an 11-4 run to go onto the victory.
