VERMILLION, S.D. (Feb. 11, 2005)--South Dakota women's soccer coach Jessica Maddox has announced that Sarah Halbach of St. Paul, Minn. has signed to enroll at The University of South Dakota this fall and play soccer for the Coyotes.

Halbach, the daughter of Chip Halbach and Pat Larson, earned four varsity soccer letters at South High School in St. Paul. She was a two-time All-City selection, as well as being named captain in 2004.

As a member of the St. Paul Blackhawks club team, Halbach was a member for the 2004 state champions and 2004 Midwest regional champion.

Halbach will graduate with honors this spring.
