VERMILLION, S.D. -- Tickets are available for the South Dakota Football season opener when the Coyotes travel to Minnesota-Crookston for a 7 p.m. Thursday night game on August 25 at Ed Widseth Field in Crookston, Minn. The cost of tickets is $8 for adults and $5 for K-12 and may be purchased at the Coyote Ticket Office at the DakotaDome or by calling 605-677-5959.

A year ago, the South Dakota Football Team compiled a 9-2 record while setting 27 school records, which was the school's best season since the 1986 team had an 11-3 record en route to the Division II title game. Now, the Coyotes will try to put together a second straight winning season and end a long conference title drought, which dates back to 1978.
