His 260 rushing yards were 35 shy of Stefan Logan's (2003-06) single game record. Logan gained 295 yards on September 3, 2005 against Truman State. Allen had runs of 63, 23 and 22 yards in the win. He was busy early in the game, rushing for 189 yards in the first half. The 260 yard rushing performance marks the third time this season that he has gone for 200 or more yards in a game. On the season, Allen has rushed for 1,469 yards and has scored 14 touchdowns (12 rushing, 2 receiving). He needs just 327 yards to break Jamel White's (1998-99) USD single season record. White ran for 1,796 yards in the 1999 season.
