KANSAS CITY, MO. --- The University of South Dakota men's basketball team will enter the NCAA Division II National Tournament as the #24-ranked team in the country, according to the National Association of Basketball Coaches national poll released late Tuesday.
The Coyotes (23-6, 10-2 NCC) will be the #4-seed in the upcoming NCAA Division II North Central Regional and will take on #5 Nebraska-Kearney (23-6, 16-3 RMAC) at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, in Winona, Minn., in first round action. USD captured its 12th North Central Conference championship this season and also won its second NCC Postseason Tournament title in the last three years.
