VERMILLION, S.D. -- The University of South Dakota football team's 2009 spring practice schedule has been updated. USD's two practices in Sioux Falls, S.D., that were scheduled for Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, have been canceled as a result of the pending storm that is forecast for the area.
USD's upcoming practice schedule is as follows: the Coyotes will practice at 4 p.m. today (Friday, April 3) at the DakotaDome; they will practice at noon on Sunday, April 5 at the DakotaDome. The Coyotes will then practice at 4 p.m. on Monday, April 6; at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7; and at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, with all three of those practices being held at the DakotaDome.
The practices are open to the public.
USD will begin its second year of transition to NCAA Division I FCS status in 2009. The Coyotes are members of the Great West Conference. USD will be in its sixth season under Coach Ed Meierkort, who has a 39-18 record at the school.
