USD Adds KTOQ 1340 AM of Rapid City as Affiliate for Football Broadcasts

VERMILLION, S.D. -- The University of South Dakota athletic department has announced that KTOQ 1340 AM of Rapid City, S.D., has been added as an affiliate for Coyote football broadcasts for the 2010 season.

B102.7 FM of Sioux Falls is the flagship station for USD football for a third straight year. KTOQ, owned by Haugo Broadcasting, will carry all 11 Coyote football games for the season, and joins KYNT 1450 AM (Yankton), KORN 1490 AM (Mitchell), KCCR 1240 AM (Pierre) and KAOR 91.1 FM (Vermillion) as Coyote football affiliates in 2010.

"We are excited to add KTOQ 1340 AM to our Coyote Sports Network in an ongoing effort expand our coverage throughout the state," said USD Associate Athletic Director David Herbster. "We look forward to our partnership with KTOQ 1340 AM and their ability to deliver Coyote football to all our fans in the West River area."

"We're excited to become part of the USD Coyotes Radio Networks," said Chris Haugo, general manager of Haugo Broadcasting. "The Haugo family has long ties to the University of South Dakota and Vermillion and is proud to have the Coyotes on our radio station K-TALK AM 1340."

Warren Swain will return for his third season as the Voice of the Coyotes with R.J. Pattison serving as the color analyst for USD football for the second straight year.
