BOISE, Idaho – Diana Lee scored five points during a late 6-0 run to lead Boise State past South Dakota 52-50 on Saturday at Taco Bell Arena.

Lee scored 13 points in the game, and started Boise State’s (6-5) run with a 3-pointer to make it 49-46 with 1:07 left. Outside of Lee, Miquelle Askew also scored double-digit points with 12. Amber Vandiver tallied 12 rebounds to lead the Broncos in that stat.

South Dakota (5-8) had three players that scored at least 10 points.  Nicole Seekamp led the way with 13 points, while Tempestt Wilson had 11 points and Polly Harrington tallied 10 points.  Harrington also led the Coyotes in rebounds with six, while Alexis Yackley had six assists.

The Coyotes went 1 for 15 from beyond the 3-point arc and shot just 30 percent from the field in the game.  Despite the shooting woes, the game was tied at the half at 21 and USD led by seven with 12:24 left in the game.

South Dakota won the turnover battle by forcing 21 Bronco turnovers while only committing 11.  USD also led in points in the paint 30-22.  Boise State became the second team this season to outrebound the Coyotes, holding a 48-40 advantage.

South Dakota will return home to start the Summit League season with Omaha (8-2) on Dec. 30.  That game will have a 2 p.m. tipoff.
