OMAHA, Neb. —Senior Kelley Wollack and sophomores Mackenzie Horkey and Sydney O'Shaughnessy each had a double-double as the Mavericks (7-8, 2-0) beat the Coyotes (6-9, 0-2) 21-25, 32-30, 25-22, 25-22 Saturday night in Sapp Fieldhouse.

For the Mavericks, Wollack had 14 kills and 11 digs, Horkey had 18 kills and 13 digs and O'Shaughnessy had 51 assists and 20 digs.

The Coyotes were led by junior Audrey Reeg who had 19 kills and sophomore Brittany Jessen who had a match-high 52 assists.

The Coyotes got seven kills from senior Sydney Dimke and 15 assists from Jessen as the Coyotes won the first set.

Nebraska-Omaha took a competitive set two that had 22 ties/lead changes. Wollack and Horkey led the Mavericks the rest of the way and combined for six kills in set three and nine kills in set four.

Coyotes are back in action next weekend and play at North Dakota State on Friday and at Denver on Sunday.
