SYDNEY--The Coyotes made it to the third destination of their trip on Monday, touching down in Sydney during the afternoon. A trip to the Cairns Wildlife Dome highlighted the morning, while a sightseeing tour of Sydney was featured in the evening.

Sophomore guard Jaycee Bradley shares her experience from the seventh day in Australia in the blog below.

G'day Yotes!

Our last day in Cairns began with a rainy walk to the Wildlife Dome. There, we each took a turn cuddling Nellie the koala and smiled for the camera to capture the memory. A highlight of the trip for most of us I'm sure! After we were finished seeing the Australian wildlife at the dome, we headed for the bus and began our journey to Sydney.

As soon as we touched down in Sydney, our sightseeing began. Our first stop was Bondi Beach, famous for its surfing. We saw hundreds of surfers riding the waves, which is something most of us had never seen before. A small group of us were intrigued by the huge waves crashing into the rocks so we walked to the other side of the beach to check it out. As we made our way farther onto the rocks, the waves seemed to get bigger. One wave came crashing in unexpectedly and drenched me from head to toe. There were lots of laughs, but I didn't mind because it made for some awesome pictures on the GoPro! We found our way back to the bus just in time to catch the sunset at a lookout that highlighted the entire Sydney skyline. Seeing the city from the distance made me excited to discover what Sydney has in store.

I would personally like to thank every person that made it possible for our team to come on this trip and have the experience of a lifetime! We are having an absolute blast and haven't taken any opportunity for granted. We'll cherish these memories in the land down under forever. Cheers!
