SYDNEY--For South Dakota women's basketball's final day in Australia, the Coyotes visited Sydney's most iconic landmark. The Coyotes climbed to the top of Sydney Harbor Bridge, which is 134 meters high, for incredible views of the city.

Our final blog was written by junior center Kate Liveringhouse.

Hey everyone!
 
Well, today is the day, our last full day here in Australia. We took full advantage by starting the day off with climbing the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. We not only got to walk in it but we were taken to the very top which stood about 400+ feet above the water. Some of the team was a little nervous for this endeavor, but it turned out to be well worth it. We were able to see panoramic views of Sydney and don't worry, we even made sure to take a video of the C-O-Y-O-T-E chant from the top of Sydney. 
 
After the climb we ventured over to Manly Beach via ferry and stopped along the shops to get some souvenirs and eat. The birds even enjoyed our food as one attempted to steal a sandwich out of our hands and chased us to get our French fries. Needless to say, they no longer seemed like cute harmless birds after that. Like Bondi Beach that we visited on our first day here in Sydney, Manly Beach is gorgeous and it's hard to believe that the 75 degree and sunny weather here is their winter. 
 
We finished the night with a great group dinner at a local Australian Harbour restaurant. Afterwards, of course, we had to stop at the local gelato place as well, as these never disappoint.
 
This trip has truly been a once in a lifetime experience. We would definitely not mind coming back some day. Being able to experience this because of basketball and being able to do it with our team and boosters has been amazing. We cannot thank everyone enough for making this trip possible. Along with that, the continued support from Coyote fans has been incredible and we would not be able to be where we are without all of you. We have been able to face a lot of fears, cross items off bucket lists and create memories that will not be forgotten. We were able to do all of these things because of the sport that brought us here, basketball, which is pretty special.

They did it!!! No photo shop... No filter... Just the entire Yotes team standing on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge after 2 hours of climbing! So so proud of all of our players, especially the ones who overcame some nerves today to climb the bridge anyways with their teammates by their side. What an awesome experience for our team going forward! Oh yeah... And that no filter thing... We couldn't have planned a more beautiful, sunny day to overlook Sydney - we could see for miles! So far our last day in Australia is off to a great start ?????? #YotesDownUnder
