VERMILLION, S.D. — The South Dakota football team is in the FCS Playoffs for the first time and a pair of events have been announced by the Howling Pack and USD Alumni Association for fans staying in Southeast South Dakota and those traveling to Thibodaux, Louisiana.
 
A "Game Day Party" will be held at Will's Training Table in Sioux Falls beginning at 2 p.m. and leading up to the Coyote basketball game across the street in the Sanford Pentagon. The football game, which kicks off at 3 p.m. against Nicholls, will be streamed inside Will's where food and drinks will be served. For those that wish for a tailgate atmosphere, you can bring your own food and drink and watch the game on an outdoor screen.
 
Following the Coyote football game, the South Dakota men's basketball team faces Northern Colorado for the second game of the Sanford Pentagon Showcase at 6:30 p.m.
 
Headed to Thibodaux to watch the Coyote football team in person? Join fellow fans and friends for a pregame party at Bubba's II PoBoys before heading to Guidry Stadium. The event at Bubba's begins at 12:30 p.m. with kickoff at 3 p.m.
