The Game
The Coyotes are coming off a 68-58 victory at Fort Wayne and have won four out of their last five games. Oral Roberts is completing its tour of North and South Dakota after falling at South Dakota State last week Thursday 78-75 and dropping an 82-64 decision to North Dakota State on Saturday.

The Golden Eagles
Oral Roberts is led by last season's Summit League Freshman of the Year Emmanuel Nzekwesi with 13.5 points per game. In league action, that average improves to 17.4 points per contest. Javan White averages a double-double of 10.6 points and 10.4 rebounds per game in conference play, holding an average of 10.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game for the full season.

The Golden Eagles are 7-13 overall and used three-straight home games to begin Summit League play to open with a 3-0 record. Since then, ORU has dropped two-straight contests and sits in third place in the conference with a 3-2 record.

The Coyotes
South Dakota is 15-5 overall and 3-1 in the Summit League after Thursday's victory at Fort Wayne. South Dakota averages 80.3 points per game on the season but also utilize the league's top defense to claim victories. The Coyotes give up 66.8 points per game, a mark that has been lowered to 65.8 points in the team's four Summit League contests.

On the offensive end,
Matt Mooney leads the team with 17.3 points per contest while
Tyler Hagedorn continues his breakout campaign with 13.3 points per game.
Trey Burch-Manning grabs a team-high 7.3 rebounds to go along with his 9.2 points per game.

Hagedorn tallied a double-double at Fort Wayne with 12 points and 11 rebounds, the second time this year he has recorded double digits in two categories.

The Series
Oral Roberts leads the series 6-4 but the Coyotes have won the four out of the last five meetings. The series began with one game each in 1970-71, 1972-73. The two squads met twice in 2011-12 and twice a year since 2014-15.

In conference games, South Dakota leads the league in scoring defense and 3-point field goal percentage defense, while ranking second in field goal percentage defense. The Coyotes give up 66.8 points per game on 40.4 percent shooting from the field. Opponents make 30.4 percent of 3-point field goal attempts. South Dakota gave up just three made long-range shots against Fort Wayne on 20 attempts. On top of leading the league in 3-point field goal defense, the Coyotes rank 19
th in the nation in the same category.
