The South Dakota men's basketball team faces Air Force Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (CST) in both squad's second game of the Bimini Jam in Bimini, Bahamas.

The Coyotes and Falcons meet after both squads dropped their opening games of the Bimini Jam. Air Force fell in double overtime to UMBC while South Dakota lost by four points to High Point. Both games were on Friday. Â

The Falcons
Air Force is 1-2 on the season after falling in two overtimes to UMBC on Friday. Sid Tomes scored a career-best 20 points in the 77-72 loss and now leads the team with 14 points per game. Ryan Swan is second on the team with 12.7 points per contest and tops the team with 7.7 rebounds per game.

Air Force has dropped two-straight games after winning its season-opener 90-65 over Johnson & Wales. The first loss of the year was at Texas State, 67-57, followed by the contest with UMBC.

South Dakota, 2-1 on the year, looks to bounce back after its first loss of the year.
Trey Burch-Manning led the way against High Point with 20 points while
Triston Simpson added 11 points. South Dakota shot 44.4 percent from the field but hit just 5-of-18 shots from long range.

Simpson leads the team with 19.3 points per contest while Burch-Manning tallies 15.3 points.
Tyler Peterson and
Brandon Armstrong reach double-digit points as well at 14.7 and 10.7, respectively.

The Series
Air Force leads the series 6-0. Five of the meetings were before the Division I era for the Coyotes with the last meeting coming in 2013-14, a 94-86 Falcon victory. Sunday's contest is the first at a neutral site between the schools.

Burch-Manning ranks 10
th in the nation with his 66.7 3-point field-goal percentage. The senior, who entered 2018-19 with 12 total made 3-point baskets in his Coyote career, has hit 8-of-12 long-range shots over the first three games of the year.
