LINCOLN, Nebraska – Nebraska posted a 4-0 victory over South Dakota in a women's tennis match played Sunday inside the Dillon Tennis Center.
The Coyotes couldn't continue the momentum from their victory on Saturday over UMKC, quickly losing the doubles point with a pair of 6-1 defeats and it carried over into the singles play.
"Nebraska played a good match and took it to us," coach
Brett Barnett said. "We started very flat in doubles and it carried over to singles. After a good win yesterday this was a tough and disappointing way to finish off the weekend."
South Dakota falls to 1-4 and will travel to Minneapolis for a match against Minnesota on Friday.
