Coyote Classics features 2016 Weber State Comeback

VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota athletics, the new voice of Coyote football John Thayer, KVHT radio, and Learfield IMG College present Coyote Classics, a series of audio replays of thrilling Coyote football victories from recent seasons.
 
This week's installment, which debuts Saturday from 1-3 p.m., features the Coyotes' 52-49 double-overtime win against Weber State on Sept. 10, 2016. The Coyotes overcame a 21-point, fourth-quarter deficit to force overtime and won it on a 34-yard field goal by Miles Bergner. Quarterback Chris Streveler threw four touchdown passes and ran for two more. He threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Shamar Jackson on 4th-and-13 with 32 seconds left in regulation to force overtime and helped make head coach Bob Nielson a winner in his DakotaDome debut.
 
Thayer will lead fans through a condensed replay and hosts discussions with both Nielson and Jackson, who caught six passes for a team-high 81 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
