VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota athletics, the new voice of Coyote football John Thayer, KVHT radio, and Learfield IMG College present Coyote Classics, a series of audio replays of thrilling Coyote football victories from recent seasons.
 
This week's installment, which debuts Saturday from 1-3 p.m., features the Coyotes' 28-25 win against 11th-ranked UNI on the 100th Dakota Days celebration on Oct. 8, 2016. The Coyotes led 21-17 at halftime and pushed the lead to 28-17 late in the third quarter on a 29-yard touchdown pass from Chris Streveler to Tacari Carpenter. It was the second touchdown of the day for Carpenter, who hauled in a 75-yard touchdown earlier in the contest. Five sacks - two each from Tyson Graham and Colin Mertlik - along with an interception by Andrew Gray highlighted the defense.
 
Thayer will lead fans through a condensed replay and hosts discussions with both coach Bob Nielson and Streveler.
