VERMILLION, S.D.—Former South Dakota sports information director Mike Mahon is featured on the latest YoteCast with host John Thayer released at noon Thursday.
 
Mahon, inducted to the Henry Heider Coyote Sports Hall of Fame in 2009, served as USD's Sports Information Director from 1977-88. He graduated from USD with his bachelor's in mass communications in 1976. After leaving Vermillion, Mahon moved to the Des Moines area to serve as Drake's SID for 22 years from 1988 to 2010.
 
On this week's YoteCast, Mahon reminisces on his time at the University of South Dakota and discusses his experience working Olympic events.
