KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The South Dakota women's soccer program earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2019-20 academic year with a 3.69 team grade point average.
This is the seventh year the Coyotes have earned the honor and are one of five Summit League women's programs to earn the honor in the 2019-20 season.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster.
A total of 556 collegiate women's teams earned the award.
