SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – One new school record plus 10 new entries into the Coyote Top 10 highlighted day two in the pool for South Dakota men's and women's swimming and diving on Friday at the Augustana Invitational inside the Midco Aquatic Center.

South Dakota claimed three individual titles while also winning three of the four relays contested on Friday and both the men's and women's teams maintained leads in the team standings as well.

The Coyote men closed the day with a bang, setting a new school record in the 400 medley relay as
Adam Fisher,
Jack Berdahl,
Jacob Won and
Zachary Kopp clocked 3:18.69 to win the race.
Â
The men's team also opened the day that way as well, as the foursome of Kopp,
Jake Leichner,
Aidan Gantenbein and
Charlie Bean would win the 200 free relay in 1:20.97.

Grant Wolner and Fisher would win individual races on the day as the men's team leads the 5-team meet with 1,025 points through day two while South Dakota State is in second with 902.

Wolner, a sophomore, touched the wall first in the 100 breaststroke in 55.69, just ahead of teammate
Jack Berdahl, who finished in 55.78 as the Coyote men claimed the first four places and six of the top eight in the race.

Berdahl had clocked a 55.58 in the prelims to move to fourth all-time while Wolner's prelim time of 55.65 puts him in fifth all-time.
Parker Sonnabend, fourth in the final just behind
Mack Sathre, swam 56.25 in the prelims to move to ninth all-time on the Coyote Top 10 list.

Fisher, a freshman, clocked 49.66 to win the 100 back as Gantenbein, a junior, was fourth in 50.63. Fisher's prelim time of 49.62 is the third fastest all-time.

Bean, a senior, was third in the 200 free final while Kopp placed fourth followed by
Stephen Johnson in sixth.
Jacob Won swam in the prelims, clocking a 1:4144, to move into 7
th on the all-time list, just ahead of Kopp, who posted identical 1:41.47 times in both the prelims and finals.

Leichner, a senior, was third in the 400 IM in 4:06.80.

The Coyote women, like the men, closed the day with a victory in the 400 medley relay as
Lucie Anderson,
Cassie Ketterling,
Madilyn Sindelar and
Emily Kahn clocked 3:48.10.

Kahn teamed with
Meghan Atwell, Sindelar and
Sara Mayer to place second in the 200 free relay in 1:34.24.

Kahn, a freshman, won the 200 free in 1:50.72, a time that ranks third on the Coyote Top 10 list. Classmate Mayer was sixth in 1:53.95, to move to ninth all-time.

Mairead Powers, a freshman, clocked 4:31.01 to place second in the 400 IM and move into fourth on the Top 10 list.

Cassie Ketterling, a senior, posted a fourth-place finish in the 100 breast, clocking 1:04.57 to move to fifth on the all-time list.

Anderson, a senior, placed sixth in the 100 back final in 57.22, just off her personal best of 57.02.
Emma Clark, a freshman, was ninth in 57.66, a time that puts her at seventh on the all-time list.
