VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota Coyotes will host the Western Illinois Leathernecks in its second straight home weekend. The Yotes and Leathernecks will face off on Friday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. at the First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex.

A LOOK ACROSS THE PITCH
The Leathernecks sits at 0-8 on the season. WIU has played Denver, North Dakota State, Kansas City and North Dakota this season. WIU has given up 16 goals on the season and has scored two goals. Even though the Leathernecks haven't won a game this season, they have lost four games by one goal.
LAST TIME OUT
After playing to a scoreless 90 minutes, the Yotes and Mavs went to overtime in which Omaha put one in the net to secure the victory. It was also senior day for the lone senior
Sunny Huettner. In game two, the Yotes came out attacking the goal but was only able to get three shots in the first 45 minutes. In the 55th minute Omaha struck to give them the 1-0 lead. The Yotes were able to get off 13 shots in the second half and seven total shots on goal but weren't able to find the back of the net and fell 1-0 again to the Mavs.
SHOW STOPPER
- Since giving up three goals in the season opener, redshirt-junior has only given up five goals since including recording a shutout against Kansas City.
