VERMILLION, S.D. — Home matches against Creighton, Drake, South Dakota State and North Dakota State highlight the 2026 South Dakota women's soccer schedule, announced Wednesday morning. 
 

The Coyotes will play 10 regular-season matches at the First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex, including five non-conference contests before opening Summit League play in mid-September. 

South Dakota opens the 2026 campaign with a pair of home exhibitions, hosting Creighton on August 5th before welcoming Omaha on August 8th. 

The regular season begins on the road as the Coyotes travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to face Northern Iowa on August 12th. The Yotes then head to Lincoln for a matchup with Nebraska on August 16th before continuing its road swing at Green Bay (Aug. 20), Northern Colorado (Aug. 27) and Wyoming (Aug. 30). 

The Coyotes return home on August 23rd to host Morningside before wrapping up non-conference play with home contests against Idaho on September 3rd and Drake on September 6th. 

Summit League action begins on September 13th with South Dakota's conference home opener. The Coyotes host South Dakota State on September 24th before traveling to North Dakota State on September 27th. 

The conference slate also includes home matches against Kansas City (Oct. 8), Oral Roberts (Oct. 11), North Dakota State (Oct. 29) and North Dakota (Nov. 1). South Dakota's remaining road conference contests include trips to North Dakota, Omaha, St. Thomas and South Dakota State. 

The 2026 Summit League Championship is scheduled for Nov. 8, with semifinal action taking place Nov. 6. Quarterfinal and semifinal opponents, along with additional conference schedule details, will be announced by the league at a later date.
