FIRST SERVE
The South Dakota Coyotes will face Kansas City in the semifinals of the Summit League tournament on Friday at 6 p.m. inside the Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. The winner will face either Denver or Omaha in the Summit Championship match at 2 p.m. Saturday. The tournament winner punches its ticket to the 2020-21 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
THE COYOTES
South Dakota (13-6, 12-3 in Summit) finished third in the final Summit League standings, only one game back of Denver.
Elizabeth Juhnke leads with 4.19 kills per set while
Sami Slaughter adds 2.64. Those two along with
Madison Harms were named All-Summit League while
Madison Jurgens earned honorable mention honors. Harms led the Summit League in blocks per set at 1.31 while Jurgens contributes 10.04 assists per set, 2.89 digs per set and 0.36 service aces per set. Libero

THE ROOS
The Roos (13-3, 13-3 in Summit) finished second in the final Summit League standings, just a half-game behind Denver. Summit League player of the year Melanie Brecka leads the way at 4.09 kills per set. Summit League setter of the year Alli Schomers averages 10.29 assists per set. Maddie Renn averages 4.43 digs per set while Alex Ratzlaff contributes 3.66 digs per match to go with 2.43 kills/set and 0.40 aces/set.
THE SERIES
Kansas City squeezed out a pair of five-set victories over South Dakota during the regular season to even the series during the Division I era at 5-5.Â
