The Coyotes
USD is coming off a 1-1 outing at the Fort Myers Tip-Off earlier in the week. The Coyotes beat LIU in the first round on Tuesday before falling to Sam Houston in the championship game Wednesday. Paul Bruns led the team in scoring on Wednesday with 12 points off the bench on 5-of-9 shooting. It was the fifth time this season Bruns has scored in double-figures.

Senior guard Mason Archambault was awarded with an all-tournament team selection at the Fort Myers Tip-Off. Archambault scored 28 total points on 43 percent shooting and recorded seven steals in the two-day event. He also held Sam Houston's leading scorer to five points in Wednesday's game and forced three turnovers.

The Chanticleers
CCU's head coach Cliff Ellis has been a head coach for nearly 50 years. In his 16th season at Coastal Carolina, Ellis has his team off to a 2-2 start. The Chanticleers opened the season with two home wins before dropping its last two on the road at USC Upstate and Missouri.

Coastal Carolina obtains a high-powered offense that averages 84 points a game and owns a 19.5 scoring margin in favor of CCU. Four players average double-figures with Jomaru Brown leading the way at 19.3 points per game. Linton Brown (15.5), Essam Mostafa (12.8), and Josh Uduje (11.5) all average double-digits alongside Brown. Mostafa not only averages double-digit points, but also averages double-digit rebound at 12.5 per game. His rebounding total leads the Sun Belt Conference and is second nationally.

One Last Thing
South Dakota is set to play its third game in five days following a quick, two-day tournament in Fort Myers, Florida. The Coyotes return home on Monday for their first home game in two weeks and then go back on the road for the last two non-conference road games at BYU and Air Force.
