The Game

South Dakota women's basketball hosts Oral Roberts for a game at 1 p.m. Saturday inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center in Vermillion, South Dakota. A pre-game tailgate will take place in the DakotaDome west concourse beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The Coyotes

Saturday is Senior Day for South Dakota (22-5, 15-1) and the program will recognize a class of four seniors that have amassed a 128-26 record, punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament three times and are chasing their third Summit regular season title. Prior to Saturday's tip-off, USD will honor Liv Korngable, Chloe Lamb, Regan Sankey and Hannah Sjerven. Between them, the quartet has nearly 4,500 career points. Saturday would have been the season finale for the Coyotes prior to a COVID-19 postponement at Western Illinois. Instead, the Coyotes will wrap up the regular season on Monday night in Macomb.
 

The Golden Eagles

Oral Roberts (15-13, 10-7) is locked into the 4-5 game of the upcoming Summit League Tournament and will face North Dakota in the first round, although the seeding between the two depends on Saturday's games. The Golden Eagles are led by true freshman Tirzah Moore's 14.7 points per game. Preseason all-league pick Keni Jo Lippe is averaging 9.4 points per game this season with more than 1,700 points for her career.
 

The Series

South Dakota leads the series 18-3, having won 16-straight games against the Golden Eagles. USD won the first meeting this season 90-59 in their Summit League opener back on Dec. 20.
 

One Last Thing

South Dakota is one of 37 teams in the country with three 1,000-point scorers on the roster. Saturday will mark the first time since 2016 that the Coyotes will take the floor with three 1,000-point scorers.
