SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota volleyball players Madison Harms and Alaina Wolff have been named to the Academic All-Summit League team announced by the league Thursday.
 
The two Coyotes are part of the eight honored by the Summit League for maintaining a 3.3 cumulative GPA while also participating in over 50 percent of their team's matches throughout the season.
 
Harms, a fifth-year senior from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, carries a 3.61 GPA in Biology/Human Dynamics. On the court, Harms was named the Summit League Player of the year for the first time in her career. She also earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors and AVCA North All-Region Honorable Mention honors for the first time. Harms earns a spot on the academic all-Summit team for the second time in her career.
 
Wolff, a junior from Jackson, Minnesota, carries a 3.97 GPA in Communication Studies. Wolff played in all 29 matches for the Yotes this season and totaled 276 digs (2.40 digs/set) and 33 service aces. She earns a spot on the academic all-Summit team for first time as a Coyote.
