VERMILLION, S.D. — South Dakota volleyball and the Summit League announced the 2026 volleyball conference schedule Wednesday morning.
The Coyotes open the conference slate at home against reigning regular season champion South Dakota State on Friday, September 25. South Dakota has four home matches in October against Oral Roberts (Oct. 8), Kansas City (Oct. 10), Omaha (Oct. 29) and St. Thomas (Oct. 31). The Yotes hit the road five times in October at St. Thomas, Omaha, North Dakota, North Dakota State and South Dakota State.
South Dakota travels to Kansas City (Nov. 5) and Oral Roberts (Nov. 7) to kick off the month of November before returning home for the final two matches of the regular season against North Dakota State (Nov. 12) and North Dakota (Nov. 14).
The Summit League Tournament is back in Brookings, South Dakota for the second year in a row on November 22-24.
The Coyotes earned the No. 2 seed in last year's Summit League Tournament after posting a 12-4 record in conference play. South Dakota has won at least 10 or more matches in conference play since 2016. After losing just one player to graduation, the Coyotes return All-Summit League First Team selection
