The Coyotes

South Dakota (5-3) is back on the road for a quick trip to the Golden State with a single game against LMU. The Coyotes were picked third in the Summit League preseason poll with junior Grace Larkins and sophomore Carley Duffney named to the preseason all-Summit teams. Larkins was also named to the preseason watch list for the Becky Hammon Award.

Larkins put together her best game of the young season on Wednesday night versus preseason MVC favorites Northern Iowa. She tallied 28 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. She was 9-of-12 from the floor. The game was Larkins' ninth career double-double – last season she twice came within one assist of a triple-double. Junior guards Kendall Holmes and Alexi Hempe joined her in double-figures with 13 points apiece.

The Lions

Loyola Marymount (2-4) hosts back-to-back Summit League foes. The Lions are fresh off a 79-61 victory over Denver on Thursday evening. Alexis Mark had 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting to lead the Lions in the game.

Mark leads the team in scoring with 11.2 points per game. The Lions feature a balanced attack with four players averaging between nine and 12 points per game.
