The Game

South Dakota travels to Omaha for a game at 2 p.m. Sunday inside Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Coyotes

South Dakota (10-4, 0-1) will have a quick reset after an 84-69 loss to North Dakota State in its league opener Friday night. The loss snapped the Coyotes' seven game winning streak entering league play.
 
Preseason all-Summit pick Grace Larkins entered the league slate leading the Summit in scoring and assists. She needs 13 points to surpass 1,000 in her career. Senior graduate transfer Tori DePerry (Saginaw Valley State) sits second on the stat sheet with 10 points per game.
 

The Mavericks

Omaha (4-8, 0-1) is also on the hunt for its first conference win. The Mavericks return home following an 81-63 loss on the road at Denver Friday night. The Mavericks have three players averaging between 10 and 12 points per game with a balanced attack led by fifth-year senior Aaliyah Stanley.
 

The Series

South Dakota leads the all-time series 54-35 after winning the last 12 in a row. The series is tied at 21 for games played in Omaha.
