VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's track and field are ranked 29th in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released Tuesday. The women's pole vault squad also finished the season No. 1 in the final USTFCCCA Event Squad rankings of the season.
Additional top-15 USTFCCCA Event Squad rankings include No. 5 men's high jump, No. 12 women's hammer throw, No. 13 men's pole vault and No. 13 women's high jump.
The Coyotes have three individuals ranked in the top-10 nationally entering the NCAA West Preliminary. Sophomore
Danii Anglin ranks fourth in the high jump with a height of 6-1 ¼ (1.86m), sophomore
Marleen Mülla sits fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 14-8 ¾ (4.49m) and fourth-year sophomore
Gen Hirata ranks fifth in the pole vault with a height of 14-7 ¼ (4.45m).
South Dakota takes on the NCAA West Preliminary scheduled for May 24-27 in Sacramento, California.
