VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota director of track and field & cross country Lucky Huber is pleased to announce the addition of Gabi Damiano to his track and field staff as the director of operations.
 
Damiano graduated from the University of Arizona in May with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. She spent the past year working as an operations intern with Arizona's football and baseball programs.
 
A native of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Damanio's collegiate career started at Ellsworth Community College in her hometown. She was a member of the Panthers' volleyball team, but also worked with the Panther's football program as the football operations and recruiting coordinator.
 
Damiano's role within the track and field program at South Dakota will include budgeting, planning team travel, equipment management and assisting with on-campus recruiting visits, all while following NCAA regulations and university policies.
