Springfield, Mo. — The South Dakota women's triathlon team raced in the West Regional Championship held in Springfield, Mo.
Alexa Magallon was the first Coyote to complete the race and placed 11
th with a time of 1:04:18. She put up split times of 10:07 for swimming, 32:25 for biking, and 19:56 for running.
Teammate,
Kayla Ribbink, also placed in the top 25 with a time of 1:05:22. She finished in 22
nd place overall. As a team, the Coyotes placed fourth amongst the 16 competing teams. The Yotes scored a total of 529 points
