About the Yotes
- The Coyotes return to the Sanford Coyote Sports Center for a pair of matches this week, hosting North Dakota and Oral Roberts.
- The Coyotes will celebrate five seniors following Saturday's match against the Golden Eagles in Barrett Power, Cheyenne Hlady, Keyauna Linwood, Alaina Wolff and Kylen Sealock.

- Entering the weekend, USD ranks No. 1 among Summit League teams in assists per set (12.46), No. 2 in digs per set (15.96), No. 3 in hitting percentage (.220) and are No. 1 in kills per set (13.86).
- Leanne Williamson is in her 11th season as the head coach of the Coyotes and holds the record for most win by a USD head coach with a 225-97 record.
AVCA Coaches 4 Coaches
- South Dakota's Barrett Power was selected for the AVCA Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship, as announced by the AVCA Wednesday.
- Power was one of 18 up-and-coming volleyball coaches that were selected for the scholarship, and the program's funds will help cover registration and hotel costs at the AVCA Convention. The Convention takes places in Louisville, Kentucky, on December 18-22.

- The Coyotes enter this weekend's slate of play ranked No. 18 in the NCAA in kills per set (13.86).
- The USD attack is paced by senior Kylen Sealock and freshman Lauren Medeck who are averaging 3.42 and 2.67 kills per set, respectively.
- Sealock ranks No. 5 in the Summit League, while Medeck is No. 10 in kills per set.
- Avery Van Hook's 10.48 assists per set ranks No. 26 in the NCAA and No. 1 in the conference.
- Van Hook is the only Summit League setter averaging double-digit assists per set.
- Van Hook has 859 total assists on the season.
- Kamryn Farris ranks No. 2 in the Summit League in both digs and digs per set with 380 and 4.58.
You've Been Blocked
- The Coyotes blocked a season-high 16.0 blocks against the Fighting Hawks on Oct. 10.
- The Coyotes have tallied 10+ blocks in nine matches this season.
- Freshman Morgan Bode recorded a career-high nine blocks against the Fighting Hawks.
- Bode leads the team with 85.0 blocks on the season.
- Amanda Loschen has tallied mutliple blocks in seven of the last eight matches, including a season-high seven against UND.
- Loschen has averaged 3.6 blocks per set over the last six matches.
Locked In
- Kylen Sealock continues her steady play on the outside for the Yotes, as she paces the teams in kills (277) kills per set (3.42).
- Sealock's registered double-digit kills in 15 matches, and in six of those she hit at a .350+ clip.
- Sealock's matched her career-high of 21 kills twice this season in a 3-1 win over Fordham on Aug. 31 and in a 3-2 win over North Dakota on Oct. 10.
- She has put away double-digit kills in her last six matches and is averaging 17.8 across that span.
On Deck
- Lauren Medeck ranks second on the team in kills (222) and digs (214). She is tied for fourth in aces (11) and fourth in blocks (34.0).
- Medeck has nine double-doubles on the season, all with kills and digs.
- In her first career match against South Dakota State, Medeck matched her career-high of 20 kills with a .231 swing rate and 12 digs.
- Medeck put away a team best and then career high 17 kills in the Coyotes 3-1 win over RV Missouri on Sept. 8
- Medeck also recorded her first double-double against the Tigers with 12 digs.
- Medeck led the Coyotes in kills for the first time in her career the game prior, a 3-0 loss to Northern Kentucky with 11 kills. It also marked first match with double-digit kills.
- In the match against NKU, Medeck caught fire in the second set, putting down 10 kills in the frame.
Dropping Dimes
- Avery Van Hook's 10.48 assists per set average ranks No. 1 across Summit League setters and ranks No. 26 nationally.
- Van Hook has 13 matches this season with 40 or more assists.
- She's recorded five straight matches with 40+ assists and is averaging 46.4 over that span.
- Van Hook dished out 51 assists in two straight matches to close out the Kwik Star Klassic and has hit the 50-assist mark three times this season and six times in her career.
- Van Hook has 12 double-doubles on the campaign with digs and assists.
- The sophomore setter tallied her 1,000th career assist in the Coyotes match against #4 Louisville.

- Farris picked up her second career Summit League Defensive Peak Performer of the Week honor after tallying 71 digs and a 5.46 digs per set average across three matches last week.
Summit League Success
- In each of the past six seasons, the Coyotes have either earned a Summit League Regular Season Title or Conference Tournament Championship.
- Since 2018, the Coyotes are 88-18 (83.0%) during the conference regular season and won at least 12 conference games and lost no more than four matches during that stretch.
- South Dakota is the most recent Summit League team to put together an undefeated conference regular season, when the team went a perfect 16-0 during the 2019 season.
Freshmen Impact
- A trio of freshmen have made their presence known in the Coyote lineup in Lauren Medeck and Morgan Bode.
- Medeck ranks No. 2 on the team with 214 kills and Bode is No. 3 with 163.
- Bode is swinging at a team-high .260 clip.
- Bode leads the team with 85 blocks (12 solo).
