SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Three South Dakota women's soccer players have received all-Summit League honors, announced by the conference office Thursday morning.
Ashby Johnston (Second Team Forward),
Cambell Fischer (Honorable Mention Goalkeeper), and
Taylor Mulligan (all-Newcomer Defender) all received awards.
Â
Johnston has climbed the Coyote record books this season, leading the Coyotes to a second straight conference tournament appearance. Johnston led the Coyotes with 10 points this season, totaling four goals and two assists. In conference play, Johnston scored one goal and recorded one assist.

Earning second team honors for the second straight year, Johnston is top-10 in career goals, standing 10
th with 18. She is one point away from the top-10 in points and one shot on goal away from top-10 in that category as well. Her five game-winning goals is tied for 7
th in USD history.

In her first season in goal,
Cambell Fischer excelled, earning honorable mention all-conference for her performance. After splitting time in goal during non-conference play, Fischer didn't miss a minute of play in Summit League play.

Fischer totaled 65 saves, 41 in conference play. Her 41 saves in Summit League play is tied for the second-most in that timespan. She recorded a shutout against St. Thomas and set a career-high 10 saves in the regular season finale.

Mulligan, a freshman from Urbandale, Iowa, was a workhorse for the Coyote defense this season. She played the full 90 minutes in 15 of 17 matches this season at center-back. Mulligan played 1,483 minutes, the most for a Coyotes by over 150 minutes.

The Coyotes are set to kickoff the Summit League Tournament Friday night in Brookings, facing South Dakota State at 6 p.m. The full Summit League women's soccer honors are below.
