Clermont, Fla. — The South Dakota women's triathlon team opened their postseason slate with the Collegiate National Championships held in Clermont, Florida this past Friday and Saturday (Nov. 8-9).
The Yotes raced in the two-day event, starting with swimming on day one and ending with the biking and running on day two. The women scored a total of 777 points and placed seventh overall.
Alexa Magallon paced the Coyotes and finished in 17
th place amongst 195 competitors. Magallon scored 178 team points while marking split times of 00:09:49 for swimming, 00:30:44 for biking, 00:18:29 for running - totaling at 01:00:48 from start to finish.
