NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Coyotes are in Nashville for the Music City Classic Tuesday and Wednesday, ready to face their second Atlantic 10 and first Big 12 opponents of the season.
 
Both games are set for an 11 a.m. tip-off at Trojan Fieldhouse on the campus of Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Coyotes earned their second consecutive win of the season Thursday against NC Central, 61-54.
• Grace Larkins continued her hot start to the season by pouring in 24 points, adding five rebounds and five assists.
• Alexi Hempe added 10 points and Carley Duffney nine points and nine rebounds. Adara Groman pitched in seven points and seven boards.
 
SCOUTING THE FLYERS, SUN DEVILS
• The Coyotes are seeing unfamiliar foes Tuesday and Wednesday in Nashville.
• Dayton played Monday in the Music City, falling to Maryland Eastern Shore 62-56. The Flyers' leading scorer on the season, Ivy Wolfe, poured in 26 points in the loss.
• Arizona State faces Kentucky Tuesday prior to taking on the Yotes Wednesday. Tyi Skinner leads ASU with 21.6 points per game.
 
INSIDE THE DAYTON SERIES
• The Coyotes and Eagles meet for the 2nd time in series history.
• It has been 14 years since the last time these two programs met (Nov. 20, 2010)
• The Coyotes and Flyers will play for a second time on a neutral site. The first game was played at Williams Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn.
• The final score of that game was 78-56 in favor of the Flyers. It was a semifinal of the Subway Classic.
 
INSIDE THE ARIZONA STATE SERIES
• The Coyotes and Sun Devils meet for the 1st time in series history.
• South Dakota assistant coach Amber Cunningham coached against Arizona State in the 2018-19 season as a member of the Colorado State staff.
• The Sun Devils, ranked No. 17/19 at the time of that matchup, left Fort Collins, Colo. with a 70-39 win.
 
YOTES VS. THE A10
• Dayton is the second Atlantic-10 opponent the Coyotes have seen this season (Saint Louis, Nov. 4).
• USD is 1-3 overall against the conference.
• Most recently, the Coyotes fell to Saint Louis, 85-83, in overtime on the opening night of the season.
• USD's lone win against the A10 came against Saint Louis in 2022.
 
YOTES VS. BIG12
• Arizona State is in their first season with the Big 12 Conference, but the Yotes have plenty of familiarity with some of ASU's new conference foes.
• USD is 7-29 overall against the conference.
• Five of USD's seven wins against the conference have come against Iowa State. The other two are against Nebraska and Baylor.
• The last time USD played a Big 12 opponent was Baylor in the NCAA Tournament's Round of 32 in 2022. The Coyotes defeated Baylor before falling in the Sweet 16 to Michigan that season.
