The 2024 Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) Defensive Player of the Year picks up First Team All-American accolades after leading the Missouri Valley in tackles for loss (17.0) and sacks (9.5). He had a career day against Indiana State (Nov. 9) where he recorded 4.0 TFLs and 2.5 sacks in the 49-0 shutout win.

In the regular season, Grace (So., Cincinnati, Ohio) notched a pair of 2+ sacks games and had one sack in at least six games. He also boasted 1.5+ tackles for loss in seven games, including recording 11.5 in the final fives games of the regular season slate.

He heads to Bozeman, Montana with 18.0 tackles for loss with his 9.5 sacks, along with 59 tackles. He's started all 13 games for the Coyotes this season.

Travis Theis, running back
Theis (Sr., Pratt, Kan.) has started 13 of the 14 games he's played in this season and now holds the program record for career rushing scores.

The four-year starter at South Dakota ended the regular season sitting third in the MVFC at 84.6 yards and having since moved back up to second in the league following the two playoff games. He sat tied for 15th with 13 rushing scores. He recorded three 100-yard rushing games this season, posting a season-high 147 yards in the win over Southern Illinois.

In the two playoff games, he's moved his season total to 18 rushing scores, needing just three to break the program's single-season rushing score record. He broke the program's all-time rushing touchdown career total in the win against UC Davis.

The honor from the AFCA marks his first-career All-American honor for the sixth-year senior.
